xat muestra el avatar hasta 160 px al ampliarlo (y 320 en el perfil): con 160 px lo escala y se ve borroso. Con 160 px el GIF y la tira PNG se ven nítidos en todos los tamaños.
For xat use the GIF: xat rescales it frame by frame and it stays sharp. The PNG strip is the lossless copy for editing or keeping, but xat paints it as one very wide image and browsers downscale it, so it can look blurry there (we cap it at 4096 px wide). "Upload and get link" gives you the direct URL to paste in xat.
The image switches off and back on every so often.
