Namecolor: solid colour and glow for your nick

Namecolor is the xat power that changes the colour of your name, and together with Nameglow it adds a glow around it. The code is (glow#GLOWCOLOUR#TEXTCOLOUR): for example (glow#000001#ff0000) is red with a black glow and (glow#0#2f0000) is maroon without glow. xat also accepts shortcuts: r, g, b and their mixes (rb = magenta, gb = cyan), plus + or - to lighten or darken. This generator lets you pick both colours with a picker, see the result identical to the chat and copy the code; if you own Ruby, switch to Jewel mode for the animated gem texture. For gradients, use Namegrad.

Frequently asked questions

How do I give my name a solid colour?+

After your nick write (glow#0#COLOUR) with a 6-digit hex colour, e.g. (glow#0#00bfff). glow#0 removes the glow; put a colour instead of the 0 to add one.

What do r, g, b, + and - mean?+

They are xat colour shortcuts: r red, g green, b blue; combined (rb, bgr, rgr…) they mix proportionally, and each + lightens while each - darkens. They work for both the glow and the colour.

What is jewel?+

It is the Ruby power effect: (glow#0#jewel#COLOUR) paints the name with an animated gem texture over the colour you choose. xat clamps green in jewels, so yellows and greens look reddish; the generator shows the real colour.

Which powers do I need?+

Namecolor for the colour and Nameglow for the glow. Jewel requires Ruby; gradients require Namegrad.
